Poplar A Grade Slab 1888-44-1 RF1S ELE3

Medium slab, Resawn flat to even thickness, trimmed natural edges, half-round one face natural trunk face, rounded with indexed flat sections. Attractive spalting present, this wood is semi decayed but rescued before the decay has affected the wood’s structure. Kiln conditioned dry, treated with a coat of low odour turps and ripcord to protect sapwood edges from borer. Ready to work as a single piece, using router sled, wide thicknesser, drum sand or simply using a hand belt sander or orbital sander.
